Varanasi: Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi scored the highest rank in the country in the recently conducted Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey for the April to June 2022 period.
“Based on passenger satisfaction, business performance and airport service quality, Varanasi’s LBS International Airport scored 4.96 on a five-point scale,” said director in-charge AK Pathak. In the survey, Raipur airport scored the second position with 4.95 points, and Goa and Indore jointly shared the third position with 4.93 points, he said.
According to him, the ASQ survey is the world-renowned and internationally established global benchmarking programme measuring passengers’ satisfaction whilst they travel through an airport, conducted by the Airport’s Council International (ACI).
The ASQ Awards recognise those airports worldwide that deliver the best customer experience in the opinion of their passengers.
The ASQ programme provides the research tool and management information to better understand passengers’ views and their expectations from an airport from the products and services standpoint.
