Online registration for recruitment of 650 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in the district India Post Payment Bank Limited (IPPB) is about to close today. Candidates who have not yet registered can do so through the IBPS Portal at ibpsonline.ibps.in. The recruitment is likely to happen in June 2022 and a definite update will be made to the candidates through call letters at a later stage of the process.
The tenure of engagement will be of two years, which may be further extended by one year, subject to satisfactory performance of the candidates. Selection will be done on the basis of online written test. India Post also reserves the right to conduct language proficiency test, if required.

To be eligible, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a college/university recognized by the Government of India. In addition, it is necessary to have minimum two years of work experience as GDS. Candidate age should be between 25 to 35 years as on 30th April, 2022.

India Post Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
The recruitment exam conducted by IPPB will have a total of 120 questions on basic banking, IPPB products awareness, general awareness, computer awareness, reasoning ability, numerical ability and English language topics. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes and questions will be asked in Hindi and English medium.

The bank will pay Rs 30,000 per month as salary to the selected GDS candidates, who are engaged by IPPB as executive, excluding statutory deductions and contributions. Tax will be deducted as per IT Act as amended from time to time.
