Last date extended for admission to nursery classes in Delhi schools

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that the last date for filing applications for admission to nursery and entry level classes in private schools in Delhi has been extended by two weeks. This step has been taken in view of the increasing Covid cases in the Union Territory.

The last date for filing applications for admission to nursery classes in private schools in the national capital was scheduled to close on January 7 (Friday).

He wrote in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, “Keeping in view the prevailing COVID conditions, the last date for filing applications for admission to nursery/entry level classes in private schools in Delhi is being extended by two more weeks. Used to be.”

The Directorate of Education (DoE) had notified the admission schedule some time back.

For the last academic session, admission to entry-level classes began in February after a delay due to Covid. However, this year, the schedule is in line with the earlier years.
