Lucknow: It was the coming together of two grassroot leaders when the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President then prasad called on Samajwadi Party Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav at his Delhi residence on Monday. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, who is in Delhi to attend the ongoing event Parliament Sessions was also present at the meeting with his father, which was described as a ‘courtesy call’.

Lalu Prasad, out on bail in the fodder scam case, is currently taking health benefits at his daughter Misa Bharti’s residence in Delhi. Mulayam was also in a hospital in Gurgaon and was recently discharged. Away from politics, the two leaders also have a connection as Mulayam’s grandson Tej Pratap Singh Yadav married Lalu’s youngest daughter Raj Lakshmi in 2015.
