Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha accused the RJD legislators of “hooliganism” and said he would take up the issue with the governor.

“All of us (BJP MLAs) were here and we gave space to them (RJD) inside. But they are committing hooliganism. On the pretext of offering laddoos, they are pushing and throwing things. They have harassed us,” said Kumar.

BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tarkishore Prasad said, “Many senior leaders indulge in this wrong behavior and no action is taken against them.”

A Delhi court on Wednesday granted bail to former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi in ​​the land-for-job case. The two appeared in the court along with 14 others. His daughter, RJD MP Misa Bharti and other accused also got bail. While granting bail, the court said that the CBI has filed the charge sheet without arrest.

The court directed all the accused to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000 each and a like amount on surety.

The case pertains to alleged appointments made to the Railways in lieu of land gifted or sold to Prasad’s family when he was Railway Minister between 2004 and 2009.

The CBI in its chargesheet alleged that irregular appointments were made in the Railways in violation of laid down norms and procedures. Indian Rail for recruitment.

It alleged that the candidates, in turn, directly or through their close relatives and family members, sold land at highly subsidized rates up to one-fifth of the prevailing market rates to the family members of RJD chief Prasad, the then railways minister.
