‘Lagta hai Apan bhi Modi ke baraabar…’: Manish Sisodia on BJP’s ‘snooping’ Allegation

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Thursday (February 9, 2023) protested at the Delhi Secretariat demanding the removal of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia from his post over alleged “spying” on politicians by the Feedback Unit (FBU) of the Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva said, “Nobody, even journalists, businessmen and senior officials from the Feedback Unit, were left untouched. The way the AAP government is functioning, very soon Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Both Sisodia will be behind bars.” Said.

Terming it as a “very serious” matter, Sachdeva said the BJP will continue the fight till both Kejriwal and Sisodia are in jail.

Leader of the Opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said that after the Delhi Excise Policy “scam”, the FBU “snooping” issue has again put Sisodia under the scanner.

Responding to the allegations, Sisodia said on his official Twitter account, ‘If bigwigs, whose existence depends on plotting against opposition leaders from CBI, ED and Pegasus, fear me, it seems that I am here. Same position as (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi.”

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena has reportedly forwarded the CBI’s recommendation to the President through the Ministry of Home Affairs to register a case against Sisodia to investigate the creation and functioning of the FBU.

The CBI’s preliminary probe report had claimed that the FBU, set up by the Delhi government months after the AAP came to power in Delhi in 2015, was involved in “political intelligence gathering”.
