Lady Gaga’s costume drama continued at the 81st Venice International Film Festival 2024, when the American singer, songwriter and actor walked the red carpet for her much-awaited movie, Joker: Folie à Deux.

Making a statement in an all-black ensemble, Lady Gaga made a classic entrance in the iconic lace wings hat designed by renowned hat designer Philip Treacy. The 2001 creative headgear which was once worn by legendary fashion editor the late Isabella Blow, who was also Philip’s muse, added a dramatic feel and style to Lady Gaga’s monochromatic look. The lace detailing on the avant-garde structured piece of art exuded drama, romance and mystery, just like a perfect movie plot.

The haute couture gown from Dior featured a fitted velvet, sleeveless bodice and a voluminous skirt resembling the shape of a bundt cake. Lady Gaga owned the red carpet with her presence as she twirled for the cameras and posed with her fiance Michael Polansky.
