Actor Vikas Sethi, a well-known face in the 2000s with popular shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga and Kasautii Zindagi Kay, passed away on Sunday, September 8, at the age of 48. Reports indicate he died following a cardiac arrest. He leaves behind his wife, Jhanvi Sethi, and their twin sons. According to Telly Chakkar, Vikas suffered a massive heart attack before his passing.
His most popular television appearances include that in Kahiin To Hoga, where he played Swayam Shergill and in Kasautii Zindagi Kay, where he played the role of Prem Basu.
Back in 2021, Vikas underwent a surgery on his leg and uploaded a video on his Instagram. He said that despite the doctor advising a bed rest of one and a half months, Vikas is determined to come back stronger and earlier than expected. He said he will go out with his friends and make videos for his fans and followers.
In June 2021, Vikas welcomed twin baby boys, with wife Jhanvi Sethi and took to Instagram to share the news. “A baby is god’s opinion that life should go on………hip hip hurry,” he wrote.
Vikas was also determined to get back in shape. He would often drop fitness videos on Instagram of getting back in shape.
His last video on Instagram is one with her mother. The actor celebrated Mother’s Day in a traditional way and had posted a reel on social media. “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY.. ❤❤ MOM LOVE YOU,” he had captioned it.
