Kutch Earthquake: 4.1 magnitude earthquake in Kutch, Gujarat | Ahmedabad News – Times of India

Ahmedabad: An Earthquake was recorded at magnitude 4.1 Gujarat‘s Raw On Saturday the district is located near its epicenter DholaviraEarthquake Research Institute (ISR) said.
There was no report of any damage to property or casualties due to the moderate-intensity earthquake, district administration officials said.
“An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 was recorded at 12.08 pm on Saturday along 23 km east-southeast (ESE) of Dholavira in Kutch. It was recorded at a depth of 6.1 km,” the Gandhinagar-based institute said.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 was recorded in the district on August 4.
According to the State Disaster Management Authority, Kutch district is located in a “very high risk seismic zone”.
