In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, the on-screen mother and son, Ishwari and Dev are often praised for the relatable moments created in the show. Actors Supriya Pilgaonkar and Shaheer Sheikh say their chemistry stems from the fact that they share a similar ideology about a “perfect family”.
Supriya Pilgaonkar feels that every family is perfect in its imperfect way. Family is a unit where each member has his own ideologies and beliefs. She says, “Family members may or may not agree on everything, but it is love, trust and respect that binds them together and brings them closer. He is the perfect family for me. I personally like the way the story is told in the show as it beautifully highlights the flaws and insecurities of the characters to which it is so relatable. None of our characters are perfect and that’s probably why people associate so much with it.”
Shaheer Sheikh says that every family has its own unique way of expressing itself – be it individually or collectively. “But mutual respect and trust is something that I personally feel should never be compromised. It makes a family perfect no matter how imperfect the individuals.”
