Rajkot: kripalsinh Cricketer’s distant relative Jadeja Ravindra JadejaThe sessions court in Gondal had acquitted him of celebratory firing.
The court upheld the decision of the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) acquitted him in 2016 for the firing at his wedding.
Kripal Singh was married in a hotel located on Avadh Road, Rajkot.
His relatives were seen firing in celebration in the CCTV footage. Kripal Singh was in possession of a licensed gun and a case was registered against him by the Lodhika police station under Section 336 of the IPC and Arms Act. He was acquitted by the JMFC court in 2017, but the government challenged the order in the sessions court.
their lawyer Kuldipsinh Jadeja Told TOI: “Kripalsinh is a distant relative of Ravindra Jadeja. I produced witnesses and forensic evidence which proved that he had not committed any crime. according to an order of Supreme courtIf nothing new is found in the appeal, the High Court should uphold the order of the lower court.”
According to the police complaint, six rounds were fired from a single gun then. The prosecution had produced nine witnesses, a forensic report and CCTV footage.
