‘I told you to turn off the aircon, I’m feeling cold,’ the man says.
‘My covid is getting worse there. Aircon is making me worse. I know these little tricks. Trust me, my cousin is a doctor.’
A woman who identifies herself as the manager of the ward then asks the man to stop arguing.
‘I’m not arguing,’ the man replies. ‘If you want to call the police then go call the police, I am not living here.’
The man then says that he will quarantine at home and wants leave.
A doctor then addresses the man, saying that his blood test results show that his white cell count is ‘getting a little worse’.
The doctor suggests that he can go home ‘after today’.
‘I want to go home now,’ the man replied.
The doctor tells the man that he will give him a ‘leave against medical advice’ form, which he says he wants to see within 10 minutes or he will be gone.
The doctor replied, ‘I am not setting any time limit.
At the end of the video the man says, ‘Ten minutes, I’ll get out of here, f***ing dogs,’ as he says he told them 100 times to turn off the aircon.
NSW Health has been contacted to confirm its ‘leave against medical advice’ policy.
