Lucknow: Death toll from Kovid-19 Uttar Pradesh According to an official statement issued here, it rose to 22,559 with 25 more deaths on Monday, while 190 new cases took the number of infections to 17,05,779.
A statement issued by the state government said that out of the fresh deaths, four each were reported from Allahabad and Agra, while three each from Ghazipur and Shahjahanpur.
Of the 190 new cases, 14 were reported from Lucknow, followed by Varanasi, Agra and Bulandshahr with 10 each.
In the last 24 hours, 261 people have been cured, taking the total recovery till now to 16,80,174.
The count of active Covid-19 cases in the state is 3,046, it said.
Over 2.63 lakh samples have been tested in the last 24 hours, while more than 5.73 crore tests have been conducted in the state so far, the statement said.
