Kompanio 1300T: MediaTek announces Kompanio 1300T chipset for high-end tablets – Times of India

mediatek Power has announced its latest chipset for tablets. The company has unveiled MediaTek Company 1300T SOC. It is built on 6nm process technology and comes with features like 5G, multimedia, AI and gaming technologies.
MediaTek says the Companio 1300T will allow OEMs to build powerful, lightweight and portable tablets for online education, business, streaming services, gaming and AI applications.
As mentioned above, the new chipset is built on TSMCKey 6nm process technology. It integrates an octa-core CPU Arm Cortex-A78 Core and Arm Cortex-A55 Core. Additionally, it is equipped with a nine-core Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU that can support higher frame rates for longer, smoother gaming.
NS Company 1300T Incorporates MediaTek’s APU (AI Processing Unit) and is claimed to provide powerful, energy-efficient AI computing power for the latest voice and visual applications. The chipset will support 5G network. It comes with support for 5G sub-6GHz band, 5G-2CA as well as dual 5G SIM along with 5G elevator mode and 5G HSR mode enhancements.
As far as multimedia is concerned, the new chipset comes with support for multiple-scene HDR10+, AI-PQ (picture quality) technology and MediaTek’s chip-level eye protection engine to filter blue light.
It comes with additional support for dual monitors with two Full HD displays and 4K HDR video recording technology. The Kompanio 1300T also supports a 2.5K display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
The company says the latest chip enables multi-camera design with 108MP cameras, 4K 60fps video encoding and decoding, multi-depth smart focus and AI-clear streaming. It offers AI-powered voice assistant and integrates ultra-low power voice on wakeup (VoW) function.
The new platform comes with MediaTek’s HyperEngine 3.0 and gaming optimization. The Kompanio 1300T offers support for 5G Sub-6GHz and full bands for 2CC carrier aggregation (2CC CA), Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 for faster wireless connectivity.
