Investigation Unveils Roy’s Dark Traits

The investigation into the rape-murder of the trainee doctor on the night of August 8 and 9 has been marked by chilling revelations. As per Roy’s psychoanalytic profile prepared by experts from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, he did not show any sign of guilt, he detailed the commission of the crime without any hesitation. Before the Calcutta High Court transferred the case to the CBI, local police had found a large amount of pornographic material on Roy’s mobile phone.

Investigation And Findings In Kolkata Rape-Murder Case

According to the CBI officer, technical and scientific evidence supports that Roy was present at the crime scene. RG Kar Medical College and Hospital CCTV cameras captured the evidence of Roy’s presence near the chest department ward at around 11 am on August 8. Other footage and eyewitness accounts revealed that Roy visited a ‘red light area’ in North Kolkata way past midnight on August 8, where he got drunk before demanding nude photos from a random woman. Footage also showed him re-entering the building around 4 am on August 9, further corroborating his involvement.

The CBI questioned Roy’s family, neighbors, and colleagues from the Kolkata Police Force when it visited his residence in Bhowanipore. All these detailed investigations, and yet, it has kept side over DNA test results or even rumors about gang rape related to the case.
