Former AIADMK chief VK Sasikala continues to be implicated in a 2017 murder and dacoity case at the Kodanad Estate bungalow. On Thursday, Tamil Nadu Police interrogated him at his house. The police had registered a case against 11 people in the case in September 2017. In December 2021, Sasikala’s nephew Vivek Jayaraman was also questioned.

The Kodnad estate case is dated 24 April 2017. The incident comes four months after AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa’s death and Sasikala’s arrest, when Jayalalithaa’s driver killed a guard for 200 crores.

what is Kodanad Estate
Kodanad Estate is a village situated in the Nilgiris of Tamil Nadu. Here is a beautiful 900-acre long tea garden. There is a bungalow with more than a dozen rooms. This used to be Jayalalithaa’s favorite place. She always used to come here to spend her summer holidays.

this is the whole matter
Jayalalithaa and her aide Sasikala had several joint properties. Jayalalithaa’s driver had hatched a conspiracy to demolish the Kodanad estate. He believed that 200 crores were kept hidden in that bungalow. About 10 people were involved with the driver. Everyone had reached the bungalow to steal and killed the security guard present there.

The main accused had also died
Five days after the incident, the main accused driver of this case died in a road accident. Gradually the other five people associated with the incident also died in the accident.
