Knesset approves Mobility Law, allowing easier access to medical information

The Knesset approved on Monday night in the second and third readings the proposed law which would allow patients to transfer their medical information between health organizations for the purposes of moving between general practitioners, receiving further opinions, or other uses.

The Health Committee Chairman MK Mishriki, who first proposed the new legislation, said: “The transfer of information will enable more accurate treatment and reduce medical errors.”
