Brilliant win for KKR

Kolkata Knight Riders started the second leg with a thumping victory. Eoin Morgan-led KKR beat Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in a one-sided fashion. KKR bowled first, bowling the entire team of RCB for just 92 runs and after that Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer batted together in the bat and achieved the target in 10 overs. Kolkata’s team has now reached the fifth position in the points table.

Talking about the match, Devdutt Padikkal scored the highest 22 runs for RCB and the entire team could only score 92 runs in 19 overs. For KKR, Varun Chakravarthy and Andre Russell took three wickets each while Lockie Ferguson took two wickets. Shubman Gill, who came out to bat for Kolkata, scored 48 off 34 balls while Venkatesh Iyer played an unbeaten knock of 41 runs in 27 balls.
