The nation is shocked by the news of the death of singer KK. The singer, formally known as Krishnakumar Kunnath, was in Kolkata to perform at a concert. A video of his last concert has now been shared online and shows the singer performing his hit song, Pyaar Ke Pal.
In the video, the singer was seen wearing a casual outfit and singing the famous lines, “Hum rahe ya na rahe kal…” The singer took center stage and sang the song while the audience cheered on her. This performance will bring tears to everyone’s eyes.
KK was in Kolkata to perform in a live program. After an hour-long gig, the singer suddenly felt unwell.
He was taken to a private hospital in south Kolkata where doctors declared him brought dead. He had two shows in Kolkata. A senior hospital official said, “It is unfortunate that we could not treat him. His postmortem will take place tomorrow but sources say that it is a heart attack.
Many eminent personalities including Narendra Modi have expressed grief over his sudden demise. “Saddened by the untimely demise of renowned singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs depicted a wide range of emotions, which was associated with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti,” he wrote.
Rahul Vaidya was among the first to share the news of KK’s demise on Twitter. “I hear singer KK has just passed away. God what is really happening!!?? I mean what is happening. One of the best human beings was KK sir. Gone too quickly at 53. Shocked. RIP sir,” he wrote. Akshay Kumar Also paid tribute to the singer and wrote, “Extremely saddened and shocked to know about the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om Shanti,” he wrote.
