As per the report, the performance of KKBKKJ has been mostly limited to few big areas and not metro cities except Hyderabad. The film is performing well in states like UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and Andhra and has collected around Rs 15 crore nett.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet, the opening day collection for KKBKKJ was Rs 15.81 crore, which is lower than Salman Khan’s previous Eid releases from 2010 to 2019.
Comparing the opening day collections of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan with other Salman Khan He mentioned that Salman’s 2019 film Bharat earned Rs 42.30 crore on its opening day, while his 2018 film Race 3 earned a whopping Rs 29.17 crore on its opening day. In 2017, Tubelight earned Rs 21.15 crore on its opening day and in 2016, Sultan earned Rs 36.54 crore on its opening day. Bajrangi Bhaijaan which released in 2015 earned Rs 27.25 crore on Day 1 and Kick which released in 2014 earned Rs 26.40 crore on Day 1. Similarly, Ek Tha Tiger earned Rs 32.93 crore on its opening day in 2012, while in 2011, Bodyguard earned Rs 21.60 crore on its first day.
