New Delhi: Days after a 19-year-old youth was reportedly found missing in Arunachal Pradesh, he was finally handed over to the police. Indian Army by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (pla) on Friday, Federation Minister Kiren Rijiju said.

The Union Minister said on Twitter, “Chinese PLA has handed over the youth of Arunachal Pradesh, Mr. Miram Taron, to the Indian Army. Appropriate procedures are being followed including medical examination.”

Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday said that the Indian Army has shared personal details of youths with the Chinese side to establish their identity.
