The cruelty of a couple has come to the fore with a woman working in the country’s capital Delhi. The 48-year-old woman was beaten up so much by her bosses that she urinated in her clothes. Broke the woman’s hands and feet and even cut her hair.

According to the police, the woman’s name is Rajni and she hails from Siliguri in West Bengal.

used to work for seven thousand rupees

According to the police, the victim Rajni used to work as a domestic help in Delhi. His family in Siliguri has been informed. The accused couple used to give salary of Rs 7,000 to the woman in lieu of work.

Admitted in Safdarjung Hospital

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Ghanshyam Bansal, information about a woman’s MLC (Medico-Legal Case) was received from Safdarjung Hospital on May 17. After information, the police reached the hospital and recorded Rajni’s statement. In which he alleged that his owner, Abhitik and his wife beat him up and even cut his hair. The victim is currently undergoing treatment.

Case registered under sections of assault

The DCP said that a case has been registered against the accused couple under sections of intentional hurt, wrongful confinement and assault. Efforts are on to nab the accused couple. According to the victim’s placement agency, they received a call from the employers late on Sunday night that Rajni fell ill and should be taken home.

Injuries found all over the body

According to the placement agency, the couple then dropped her (Rajini) at the office and left. It was later revealed that she had been beaten so much that she could not even move. On Sunday, the couple dragged and killed Rajni in the house. He cut his hair. He said he had bruises all over his body.

The owner of the placement agency said that the victim Rajni was not unwell, but was beaten up by the accused couple. I took him to the hospital where he told me that the couple used to beat him regularly. According to the police, the woman started working with the couple in September last year.
