Actress Kiara Advani faced trolling from a section of the internet for her picture for photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s 2021 calendar, which showed her posing topless on a beach. Kiara received a similar response a year back when she was seen topless behind a big leaf for Dabboo’s 2020 calendar.
In a recent interview with ETimes, celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani addressed the matter and set the record straight. Speaking to the publication, Dabboo Ratnani said: “Yes, I have read what is being said online. But in my recent black and white picture, Kiara is not topless.”
In the photo, Kiara Advani is seen posing at Juhu Beach – the shooting location was JW Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai. Sharing the story behind Kiara Advani’s 2021 calendar shot, Dabboo Ratnani clarified: “I shoot in a special way that leaves a lot to the imagination. I think your face gets too-sexy porn. It is better to leave a certain intrigue.”
Kiara recently addressed this in Arbaaz Khan’s chat show ‘Pinch 2’. Arbaaz read a comment which said, “That’s the only thing good in 2020.” To which Kiara responded, “I will take it as a compliment.” Another comment said, “I wish a goat eats a leaf.” Annoyed by this, Kiara said, “Eve”.
Kiara also said, “I myself don’t know ye kaha se keha gaya (I don’t know how it proceeded). It was Dabboo… He came up with this concept of leafy concept. was shot.”
Kiara was last seen in Shershaah, which has become the most-watched Indian film on Amazon Prime Video. Siddharth Malhotra played the lead role in the war drama based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra.
