Kiara Advani will soon step into the action genre with Don 3, which will also star Ranveer Singh in the lead.
It is International Yoga Day and social media is flooded with people sharing pictures while performing several aasanas. Our favourite Bollywood stars are no different. On Friday morning, Kiara Advani took to her Instagram stories and dropped a picture in which she was seen flaunting her flexibility. The actress was seen doing the Chakrasana or the wheel pose. In the caption, Kiara simply wrote, “Happy Yoga Day”.
Kiara Advani recently celebrated her 10 years in Bollywood. The actress made her acting debut in 2014 with the film Fugli, which also starred Jimmy Sheirgill, Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, and Arfi Lamba. So far, she has worked in several successful films including Kabir Singh, Shershaah, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and Jugjugg Jeeyo among others.
Kiara is now all set to step into the action genre with Don 3, which will also star Ranveer Singh in the lead. Previously, Kiara expressed excitement for the Farhan Akhtar directorial when shared that she consciously decided to sign this movie to break away from the way the audience has seen her as of now.
“I think this was a conscious decision. I wanted to do something different. I wanted to change it up for myself. This was one genre I was longing to get myself to do, change the vibe, change the way I have been perceived so far. That’s what is exciting, right? As an actor, you are constantly stepping into different characters and making the world believe that this is what you are. There will be a lot of prep for the film (Don 3). I have got time to do that and I am very excited. I have never done an action movie. Now is my time to do some action,” she told ABP News.
Besides this, rumours are rife that Kiara will soon be reuniting on-screen with Sidharth Malhotra for a romantic comedy, which will mark their first movie together since their wedding. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
