Khushboo clears fake news about actress Meena’s husband’s death; know more

Veteran Telugu actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away at a private hospital on Tuesday evening at the age of 48. There were many types of news about his death. Meanwhile, actress-politician Khushboo cleared the fake news surrounding the death, saying that she died due to COVID-19.

Veteran actress Meena’s husband was diagnosed with Kovid 3 months ago, which caused severe damage to his lungs. Khushboo asked the media not to spread false news about his death and not to create any unnecessary fear among the public.

The actress also said that hearing the news broke her heart. He took the time to mention that Vidyasagar was suffering from a lung problem for a long time. The ongoing fake news regarding the issue states that the death was caused by inhalation of a germ spread by pigeon droppings.

Doctors had advised Vidyasagar to undergo a lung transplant a few weeks back. According to sources, this was only conceivable for brain-dead patients, and finding a donor was difficult due to the long waiting list. Doctors then tried to treat his illness with medicines, but they were unsuccessful.

Several South Indian film industry veterans including Khushboo Sundar, Lakshmi Manchu, Sarath Kumar and others expressed their grief. A veteran actor, Sarath Kumar expressed his sympathy for the family on Twitter. He shared Vidyasagar’s family photo with his wife and children.

Along with the photo, Sarath wrote, “Shocked to hear of the untimely demise of actor Meena’s husband Vidyasagar, On behalf of our family, Meena and her close family and may her soul rest in peace.”

Actress Meena was married in the year 2009. Their marriage was fixed, and soon the couple had a daughter named Nainika, who starred in several Tamil films.
