Khuda Hafiz 2 Box Office Collection: Last Friday, the second part of Vidyut Jammwal’s much-loved film ‘Khuda Hafiz’ was released. While the first part took the OTT route, the second released in theaters on July 8. The film has received mixed response from the audience but is still doing well. Apart from this, it is also getting a tough competition from the Raj Mehta-directed film Jug Jug Jio, which was released earlier. Starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor And Neetu Kapoor, the family film has been entertaining the masses since last month and has crossed Rs 80 crores at the Indian box office. Talking about Khuda Hafiz, a report in BoxofficeIndia said, “Khuda Hafiz 2 netted 1-1.10 crores on Tuesday, which is still not far from Friday’s numbers, though collections are less on Monday. There was a slight drop in the collections since the Eid aspect came to the fore. The game and the movie could be better on Wednesday. The figures are less and also the collections are not falling off a cliff which is what it would be for an action film of this type. As seen last week with Rashtra Kavach – Om. It is really about where the second Friday comes and it would have been good if it would have earned 1 crore on the second Friday, but now its chances are slim. “
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collections and wrote, “#KhudaHafiz is stable on 2nd weekdays…Day 4 saw an uptrend due to #Eid festivities, while Day 5 is similar to day 1st level,Weekend Need to maintain trajectory in 2… Venus 1.31 cr, Saturn 1.74 cr, Surya 3.25 cr, Monday 1.70 cr, Mars 1.15 cr. Total: ₹9.15 cr. #BharatBiz.”
He further tweeted, “A few smaller centers will be added as the day progresses, but the *Jan Pockets* of #UP & #Bihar in particular are performing extremely well & are likely to remain strong in the coming week. #KhudaHafiz 2.”
Coming to Jug Jug Jio, the BOI report predicts, “It should be able to collect well again on Saturdays and Sundays which will take it towards the 80 crore net mark. / has crossed the 20 crore net in UP. UP has the best performing circuit despite being sluggish. The film is also above 20 crore in Mumbai, but should have done better in that circuit. East Punjab Overall Looking at Net Lifetime of 8.50-9 Crores.”
Coming to Khuda Hafiz, it is directed and written by Farooq Kabir and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sneha Bimal Parekh and Ram Mirchandani under the banner of Panorama Studios. The story of the film revolves around the story of a couple who lost their daughter to rapists.
