Shilpa Shinde also experienced a minor tragedy when she was suffocated by a snake during a stunt.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 is keeping viewers hooked with its adrenaline-pumping stunts and, of course, conflicts and controversies. In the latest episode, TV actress Shilpa Shinde, known for her role in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, was evicted. The Bigg Boss 11 winner also experienced a minor mishap when she was suffocated by a snake during a stunt.
The task involved keeping a large snake wrapped around the bodies of six contestants while they had to keep moving on a cylindrical platform that was spinning. This task was performed by Shilpa Shinde, Sumona Chakravarti, Krishna Shroff, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Aashish Mehrotra and Aditi Sharma. During the task, Shilpa struggled to breathe and was choked by the snake. Rohit then paused the stunt and asked the crew to help Shilpa, who breathed heavily after the snake’s grip was released. However, the actress continued with the task. She later said, “I am not sure what happened during the stunt. I went blank.”
Meanwhile, six participants including Shalin Bhanot, Abhishek Kumar, Niyati Fatnani, Karan Veer Mehra and Gashmeer Mahajani were saved from the eviction task.
In the snake task, Nimrit, Aashish and Krishna were saved, while Aditi, Sumona and Shilpa faced another elimination stunt. Another task involved participants tied to a pulley and had to balance the balls they collected on top of it. While maintaining her balance, Shilpa hastened to reach for a second ball and lost the first one she had collected after enduring a painful shock. She continued but managed to collect only three balls after losing one. Shilpa was then announced to have performed worse than Sumona and Aditi, resulting in her elimination.
Rohit Shetty expressed his support to Shilpa after her exit. He wished her success in her future endeavours and acknowledged the bravery required to take on such a challenging competition.
Previously, Shilpa supported Asim Riaz after he was expelled from the show. In an interview with Times Now, she mentioned that while Asim should have remained silent during his argument with host Rohit Shetty, other contestants on the show also “provoked and bullied” him.
