Kharge Leads INDIA Bloc: Embracing Constitutional Principles

On Wednesday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge expressed gratitude to all the members of the INDIA bloc for jointly contesting the Lok Sabha elections against the BJP. He emphasized that the opposition coalition embraces all parties that uphold the core principles outlined in the Constitution’s Preamble.

Kharge’s statement followed closely behind pivotal discussions among leaders of the Opposition INDIA bloc at the residence of the Congress chief in New Delhi. These discussions aimed to assess prospects for forming a government and to strategize the alliance’s future direction.

“He emphasized that the electoral outcome strongly opposes Mr. Modi, rejecting both his political approach and demeanor. This marks a significant setback for him on both political and moral grounds. Nevertheless, he remains resolute in his efforts to undermine the people’s verdict,” he stated.

In his opening statements, the Congress leader emphasized the INDIA alliance’s open arms to parties that align with its core principles as outlined in our Constitution’s Preamble, advocating for economic, social, and political justice. Expressing gratitude to the INDIA bloc partners, he warmly welcomed all members of the alliance, acknowledging their collective and steadfast effort in the electoral battle.
