KGF actor Krishnaji Rao passes away after hospitalisation, played this role in Yash starrer

KGF fame actor Krishnaji Rao is no more. He was 70 years old. A few days ago there was news that Rao has been admitted to the hospital due to serious health problems. Now, he has died. In the film KGF, Rao played a very prominent role in relation to the story of Rocky Bhai, the main character portrayed by Yash. Fans on social media are mourning his demise and also remembering his role in the Kannada action blockbuster. Rao’s dialogues in the KGF films earned him immense popularity.

Krishnaji Rao’s role in KGF

Krishnaji Rao served as AD for many years. His role as a blind man, fondly called the ‘KGF Grandfather’, came with its fair share of whistle-worthy dialogues and Rao delivered them with conviction. His dialogue in KGF: Chapter 2, “I have a piece of advice for you. Don’t stand in his way sir,” became very popular and earned him recognition for the role. Fans of the KGF franchise have also mourned his demise on social media and flooded Twitter with condolence messages.

Krishnaji Rao hopsitalised

Krishnaji Rao was taken to the hospital a few days before his death. He was undergoing treatment in the ICU before his condition deteriorated and he died. Reportedly, after gaining popularity with the KGF role, Rao received back-to-back offers for work and was constantly busy shooting. Recently, the trailer of his upcoming film Naino Narayanappa was also launched on YouTube and featured him as a character with ten heads like Ravana.
