After the success of KGF and KGF 2, Yash has been approached for several Bollywood projects. Ramayana is one of them. Ranbir Kapoor may also be a part of the film.

Filmmakers Nitesh Tiwari and Madhu Mantena have started work for their much-awaited mythological film Ramayan. The buzz is that after the success of KGF and KGF 2, actor Yash is in talks with the makers to play the lead in the Indian epic. If Yash is to be believed, this will be Yash’s first Bollywood Pleasure trip. Reportedly, Karan Johar had also offered him the role of Dev in Brahmastra 2.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, a source close to the development shared that, “Yash wants to make a spectacle and is planning his game keeping a certain vision in mind. He is listening to scripts from all industries, And he has narrowed down 4 to 5 scripts which are likely to be his next script. One of these 5 is Ramayan directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Yash is very impressed with the pre-visualization of the film and used to hold meetings with the team of Ramayan. He will take a call on his next next film within next 2 months.

The source added, that producer Madhu Mantena and filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari are keen to have Yash in the film. They are also in talks with Ranbir Kapoor to play the role of Lord Ram, for which the actor has also shown interest. While the actor has also shown interest and indirectly confirmed the offer in an interview during the film promotions, he is yet to sign on a dotted line. Ranbir also completed the cast of the film before signing on the dotted lines. It is a prestigious project and he wants everything to be perfect before committing to play the divine role.

Back in 2019, Madhu Mantena and Nitesh Tiwari announced their plans to make the Indian epic, Ramayana, as a big-screen spectacle for a global audience. It was described as one of the most ambitious projects of Indian cinema.

On a closing note, the source said, “If Yash agrees to be a part of Ramayan, Nitesh Tiwari will take it on floors by the summer of 2023, however, if the casting doesn’t happen, he is likely to do another one.” There is more. Thin layer. He has another script ready. While Ramayan is a pet project, he does not want to compromise on the casting front. Hopefully, everything will turn out well.”
