According to Endscape, one of the teams “interested” in Durant is the Golden State Warriors.

Mark J. Spears, who reported the Warriors’ interest, elaborated on ESPN radio about Golden State taking a run for Durant.

“The one team I’m asking you guys to keep an eye on is the Golden State Warriors. The Golden State may have the best package for both parties. Jordan Poole, Jonathan Cuminga, All-Star Andrew Wiggins, second pick James Wiseman,” Spears said. “What the Nets want is a young All-Star and probably a future All-Star. They are all under 30. They also want to choose, perhaps the ability to swap choices. But if you look at those four players, I am a trap, I am very happy.

“Kevin Durant, to the Warriors – they’re so familiar [Durant] and vice versa. He knows where to live in San Francisco. He knows how crime works. He knows he can win the championship there. Yeah, Steve Kerr probably needs to figure a few things out. But with each passing day, I have heard that warriors are becoming more and more interested in the context of the youth race, in terms of people being happy on both sides. The Golden State option is the best option for me.”

Durant sent a cryptic tweet on Saturday about the trade rumours.

“The people who were locked in that gym with me know what it is, they know what I’m about,” he wrote. “If you haven’t gone with me, ask around.”
