Thiruvananthapuram: After returning to power, the government has taken two important steps to take the state to new heights. CM Pinarayi Vijayan In a statement on the eve of State Formation Day (November 1). He said that the decision to reopen and establish schools Kerala Administrative Services (KAS) are two decisions.
Schools are being reopened – not because the pandemic is completely over – because the government was able to ensure maximum safety. Kerala is among the top states that have ensured two doses of vaccine for its citizens and is fully capable of providing booster doses to children as prescribed by the Department of AYUSH.
The vision of the government taking this forward is that development should be based on social justice. The government has ensured this principle even while setting up its own administrative service of the state. He said that KAS is becoming a reality after 60 years and appointment of the first batch of KAS officers is also a historic moment for the state.
He said the government aims to ensure infrastructure development worth Rs 60,000 crore in the next five years. He said that this would also lead to development of services and tourism sectors which are distinct sectors of the state. Vijayan said the government has ensured an investment of Rs 3,220 crore. After the LDF government came to power, 4,299 micro, small and medium enterprises were opened in the state and 17,448 jobs were created.
