He said that the condition of existing government hospitals would be improved and new bigger medical facilities would be opened. He said that the treatment of road accident victims would also be provided free of cost. “You go to any government hospital, primary health center or community health center in Punjab, you will not get any treatment there. There are no doctors, no medicines, no machines there. We are compelled to go to a private hospital… In Delhi also when we came to power seven years ago, the condition was bad. But we changed it there and will do it in Punjab too.”

He said that every citizen of Punjab would be given a health card which would contain all the health related information of that particular person. “Our Mohalla Clinics in Delhi are world famous. On the same lines, we will open 16,000 ‘Pind Clinics’ in all villages, wards and cities of Punjab.
To a question regarding funding for free health facilities, Kejriwal cited the example of how the Delhi government had saved money in the Wazirpur flyover project, which was built at a cost of Rs 350 crore, but spent only Rs 150 crore. were done. “We converted a deficit budget into a profit within four years in Delhi.
