Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar celebrated his 40th birthday today, January 17, and several Bollywood celebrities have left heartfelt wishes for him on social media. However, the sweetest wish was from his longtime collaborator actress Katrina Kaif. Katrina shared several old pictures with him and wrote that she misses them. On the first picture, he wrote, “Dear Buddy… it’s your birthday.” She continued on the next post, “I don’t miss you…”
In the third picture, they were seen discussing on the sets of a film. She captioned that, “Sharing all my knowledge with you……,” and continued in the next post, “And how do you always agree with me……” Finally, she wrote, “Have a wonderful day. (sic)”

Katrina and Ali have worked together in many films like New York, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat. The two have reportedly joined hands once again for a superhero film, tentatively titled Super Soldier.
Apart from this, Katrina will be seen in Tiger 3 opposite Salman Khan. He has Bhoot Police, Merry Christmas and Zee Le Zara Bhi in the pipeline. He will later be seen with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt for the first time. Vijay Sethupathi will be seen with him in Merry Christmas.
Meanwhile, Ali Abbas Zafar is currently working on a project with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. The film is a Hindi adaptation of the 2011 French action-thriller Nuit Blanche or Sleepless Night and will be released on Netflix.
Keeping the Indian background in mind, the film will be slightly modified from the original French film. It will mainly trace a day in the life of the character. In the film, Shahid will play the role of a cop who tries to save his daughter, who gets kidnapped after her tryst with a drug lord.
