MumbaiVicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sardar Udham’, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 16 October, has received an amazing response from the audience. The biographical film co-starring Banita Sandhu has managed to earn critical acclaim. Several Bollywood celebs have also praised Vicky and the team for delivering a well-crafted film.
What Katrina said about Vicky
Katrina Kaif, who is rumored to be dating Vicky Kaushal, lauded the actor for her strong performance in the film. She shared a post on social media after attending the special screening of ‘Sardar Udham’.

Kaif called Kaushal a ‘pure talent’ while praising him and Shoojit Sircar. He wrote on his Instagram story, “@shoojitsircar what a vision, such a beautiful film, pure adulterated story – @vickykaushal09 just pure talent, raw, honest, heart breaking.”
Bollywood celebs attended the screening of ‘Sardar Udham’
The makers of ‘Sardar Udham’ organized several screenings of the film ahead of its release. The likes of Angad Bedi, Sara Ali Khan, Amrita Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani attended the screening in Mumbai. Late Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar and son Babil Khan were also seen at a screening.
Story Cast of ‘Sardar Udham’
‘Sardar Udham’ is based on the life of a revolutionary freedom fighter who killed Michael O’Dwyer to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. Cast and crew completed shooting in Europe in December 2019.
