Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif’s Pathan vs Tiger will go on floors from January 2024.
Pathan vs Tiger will star Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the lead roles. Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif will also be seen with him.
Ever since the news of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan reuniting for a film surfaced, fans can’t keep calm and are hopeful about a successful collaboration. The film has reportedly been titled Pathan vs Tiger. While an official update is awaited from the production house Yash Raj Films, buzz is that the film will go on floors from January 2024.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the production team revealed that Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif will also join Shah Rukh and Salman. They will be reprising their roles. “Everything is locked for Pathan vs Tiger. In fact, the makers are looking to start work in January next year, with Siddharth Anand directing the venture. Joining Shah Rukh Khan and Salman will be their co-stars from Pathan and Tiger, ie. Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. Both will play the same characters as in the previous films. ,
Since the title is Pathan vs Tiger, fans are wondering if Shah Rukh Khan and Salman will be coming face to face. However, the source cleared the rumors and said, “Though the title is Pathan vs Tiger, the film will not be based on the rivalry between the two spies. Instead, the film will feature a common villain, against whom the two actors will be pitted.” In fact, Siddharth is planning to name an equally big star to play the arch-villain role for him.
Reportedly, the work on the set design is underway and the preliminary preparations are underway. Earlier this year, a source close to the production house informed the portal that Aditya Chopra is enjoying the rumours. “I think Adi (Aditya Chopra) is enjoying all the speculation.” The source further added, “Please note, no official announcement has been made on Tiger Vs Pathan or War 2. But speculations are rife. They are neither being confirmed nor confirmed by any source at Yash Raj Films. Denial is being done. Curiosity is on the healthy side. If and when it crosses the line, there will be denial.
YRF is now awaiting the release of Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 which will also star Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. The film is all set to release on Diwali. YRF’s last film Pathan which released in January this year turned out to be a blockbuster. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham grossed over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office.
