Kateel: To resolve the dispute over piped gas project, Kateel | Mysuru News – Times of India

Mysore: BJP State unit chief Nalin Kumar kateli will intervene in a public dispute between Mysore MP Pratap Simha and two BJP MLAs L Nagendra and SA Ramdas regarding Piped Natural Gas Project. He will meet them and resolve the issue, Mysore district in-charge minister ST Somashekar said on Thursday.
Refusing to get into a dispute, the minister said that the dispute would be resolved amicably. “There was a dispute between two BJP MLAs due to lack of information about the Rs 900 crore project,” he said.
Talking to reporters, he said that Qateel has asked party workers to refrain from speaking publicly on the issue. The minister said that Kateel will meet the MPs and MLAs and resolve the matter.
He, however, insisted that both the MLAs were not opposed to the Centre-promoted project. “They just want some information,” he claimed.
The Lok Sabha member and the two MLAs started a war of words over the project after Ramdas wrote to the MCC, for not granting permission to the contractor to dig roads in the Krishnaraja assembly constituency represented by him. But Simha questioned. Nagendra had also said that he would not allow digging of roads saying that it causes inconvenience to the public.
During this, somasekhar He said Siddaramaiah should fix his house before claiming that BJP MLAs will leave the Congress and join the Congress. “Congress leaders are leaving the party. Let him focus on it,” he said. Somashekar said he was not aware of any expansion or reshuffle in Bommai cabinet.
