Lucknow: BSP supremo Mayawati on Thursday asked people to beware of ‘Hindu-Muslim politics’. BJP, adding that this is the party’s “ultimate strategy” to avoid its imminent defeat in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections,

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav had also criticized Maurya, saying the remarks showed the BJP was giving up.
“This (Maurya’s tweet) indicates that the BJP has sensed a definite defeat in the upcoming UP assembly elections,” he told a news channel.
