PRAYAGRAJ: With top BJP leaders launching the door-to-door election campaign to woo voters in West UP districts seats ahead of the first phase of polling, the Kashi Prant leadership has also unleashed a targeted plan to cover at least five lakh houses under the “Voters Connect Digital Campaign” in all 16 districts of East UP.
The campaign was launched by the NGO cell of the BJP to cover at least 5,000 houses each in all the 69 assembly constituencies of eastern UP to ensure a clean sweep in the 2022 assembly polls.
Rajni Kant, Kashi Prant co-convener (NGO cell) told TOI, “Volunteers of NGO cell of BJP has launched the campaign in all 16 districts of Kashi Prant, where we would be covering at least 69 assembly seats… The workers would cover at least 5,000 houses in every assembly seat to ensure a clean sweep in the state assembly polls.”
The campaign is also called Ditigal Vijay Abhiyan 2022, he said.
“We are interacting with voters and compiling all details in a digital format like district, name of assembly segment and voters, their mobile numbers, address, polling booth details, expectations from government, as well as details of the BJP worker who visited the house , he added.
BJP leaders and workers (NGO cell) in Prayagraj district have also intensified their door-to-door drive and are aggressively urging them to cast their franchise.
Aiming for a record show, BJP workers will also interact with members of women self help groups (SHGs), Asha, social workers and others, listing out the welfare schemes of the Union and state governments.
The BJP state leadership has, in fact, chalked out a special strategy to reach out to each house ahead of polling day and scores of teams have been formed to connect with voters.
Local leaders have assigned workers the responsibility for successfully running the ‘Har Ghar Bhajapa’ campaign in 12 assembly seats in Prayagraj district that include Meja, Karchhana, Allahabad West, Allahabad North, Allahabad South,Phulpur, Phaphamau, PratappurHandia, Bara, Soraon and Koraon to garner support for the party.
