Amidst many speculations, the makers of one of the much-awaited films of the year ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ have clarified that the release date of the film has not been postponed and will release on the same date which was announced earlier.
Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his Twitter.
“No Postponement: ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ to release on the same date… #BhoolBhulaiya2 to release on its previously announced date [25 March 2022]… in *cinema*… Stars #KarthikAryan, #KiaraAdvani & #Tabu… Directed by #Anees Bazmee… Produced by #BhushanKumar & #MuradKhetani,” he tweeted.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is a sequel to the comic supernatural thriller drama of the same name. The first part of the film was a remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Manichirathaazhu’, which starred Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles besides Akshay Kumar.
The sequel will be titled by Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee, opposite Priyadarshan’s directorial debut.
Tabu will also play an important role in the film, with Rajpal Yadav playing his role as the younger Pandit.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 studios.
