Kartik Aaryan is in a very good phase of his career. After delivering a hit with Dhamaka, the actor appeared in Anees Bazmee’s horror comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film became an instant hit, and managed to rake in a massive Rs. 100 crores in just 9 days. After this phenomenal success, there were reports that the actor has increased his fees. However, in his signature style, Karthik has rubbished such rumours.
Taking to Twitter, the actor directly commented on the tweet which contained a link to a news article stating that he had hiked the fee. Adding some humour, he tweeted, “Promotion hua hai life mein / increment nahi / baseless 🙏🏻” Check out the tweet here:

Fans applauded Kartik for quashing such rumours. One fan tweeted, “People make false allegations, spread rumours.. I know you never react to them and they take your silence lightly. At the end you point it out. People gossip I also said with such conviction that everyone seems to know the truth.. Love you.. you are doing very well.” Another tweet read, “Even if there is an increment, what is wrong with it…. You have done a wonderful job that you deserve…”
The report said that Kartik Aaryan charges between Rs 15-20 crore per film. After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at the box office, the actor increased his fees to Rs. 35-40 crores per film.
Before Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan was seen in Dhamaka, where he played the role of a journalist in collaboration with Ram Madhvani. The actor recently wrapped up the shooting of Shehzada, for which he will be reuniting with Kriti Sanon. The film is a remake of Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapuramulu. The actor also has Captain India, where he will be seen as a pilot, and Freddy in his kitty.
