The School Education Department of Karnataka has officially released the KARTET Result 2024. Candidates can check their results on the official website: sts.karnataka.gov.in by entering their application number and date of birth. The Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KARTET 2024) has been conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 8. The minimum marks to qualify the examination is 60 per cent. For other reserved categories, it is 55 per cent.

The KARTET 2024 was conducted on June 30, 2024 in two shifts. Later the answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2 was released on the official webpage on July 8, 2024.
KARTET Result 2024: Eligibility Criteria
There is no age limit to apply for the Karnataka TET examination whatsoever. For the educational qualification, candidates must score a minimum of 50 per cent marks in their class 12 examination and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd) for the post of Primary teacher (class 1 to 5). For the post of Upper Primary Teacher (class 6 to 8), candidates must have a minimum of 50 per cent marks in their graduation or have passed or are appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) or BEd.
KARTET Result 2024: Application Fee
The application fee for General /2A/2B/3A/3B Candidates is Rs 700 for one paper and Rs 1,000 for both the papers. For the SC/ST/CI Candidates it is Rs 350 for one paper and Rs 500 for both the papers. The fee can be paid through debit card or credit card or net banking.
KARTET Result 2024: Exam Pattern
The KARTET 2024 examination was held in offline mode. The score for both the papers were 150 and there was no negative marking for any incorrect answer. Each paper consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and the duration of the examination was 2 hours and 30 minutes.
