Candidates who have participated in the examination can access the answer key and raise objections

The Government of Karnataka will close the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2024 answer key objection window today, on July 13. Candidates who have participated in the examination can access the answer key and raise objections on the official website at sts.karnataka.gov.in. The answer key for Paper I and Paper II was released on July 8. Candidates have until 5:30 PM today to raise objections. Candidates need to enter their date of birth and application/registration number. After entering these details, a verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number to access the

objection-related webpage.

Follow the steps below to raise objections:

Step 1. Open the official website of STS, Karnataka – sts.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 2. Click on the link that reads ‘KARTET 2024 Answer Key objection window.’

Step 3. A new page will be opened asking you to fill in your login details.

Step 4. Select the question you want to object to and upload the required documents.

Step 5. Pay the fees and then click on submit.

Step 6. Download and don’t forget to take a printout for future use.

Candidates must submit objections to the answer keys exclusively through the online portal. Any objections submitted through other methods will not be considered.

The KARTET was conducted on June 30 in pen-and-paper mode across the state. The exam included two papers. Paper 1 took place in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 was held in the afternoon shift from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Both papers featured objective-type questions. In KARTET 2024, candidates were required to achieve a minimum qualifying mark to pass the exam. For the general category, the qualifying percentage was 60%, requiring candidates to attain at least 90 marks out of 150. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category, the qualifying percentage was slightly lower at 55%, with a corresponding minimum score of 82.5 out of 150 marks.
