Karnavedha, according to Hindu belief, is an important ritual that a person must perform in one’s lifetime. It is one of the sixteen major samskaras or Shodas samskaras. According to the belief, a person should get Karnavedha or ear piercing on auspicious time. Karnavedha is made up of two words “karna”, which means ear, and “vedha”, which stands for piercing.
Here is the auspicious date and time of Karnavedha in September 2021:
September 3 (Friday): The time of Ekadashi Tithi of Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha will be from 07:34 in the morning to 02:29 in the afternoon and from 04:33 in the evening to 06:15 in the evening.
September 4 (Saturday): On Dwadashi Tithi, the best time is 07:30 AM to 02:25 PM and 04:29 PM to 06:11 PM.
9 September (Thursday): This day will mark the auspicious day of Shukla Paksha Tritiya Tithi of Bhadrapada month. The Shubh Muhurat for the ceremony is from 07:11 AM to 09:27 AM and from 11:47 AM to 05:52 PM.
12 September (Sunday): This day falls on the sixth day of Shukla Paksha. Individuals can choose the following timings – 11:35 AM to 01:53 PM and 03:57 PM to 07:07 PM.
13 September (Monday): There will be only one auspicious time for Karnavedh. It falls between 06:55 am to 09:11 am. Early risers can choose this day.
17 September (Friday): If people are willing to organize the function they can visit the Muhurta slot from 11:15 AM to 05:20 PM.
18 September (Saturday): This day is the Dwadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha. There are two Muhurta slots – 07:24 AM to 08:52 AM and 11:11 AM to 06:44 PM.
