Ritika told that the stray dogs depend on leftover food from hotels/restaurants and mobile eateries. “I was shaken to see 2-3 dogs starving in the third week of April. So we started feeding more and more stray animals.
Shreya said that she started it on April 24 with her pocket money. “Initially, we bought biscuits for Rs 200, but felt it was insufficient. When we discussed this with our parents, they offered to support us,” she said.
His mother Sarika makes curd rice using 3.5 kg of rice and 3 liters of curd daily, while his businessman-father Rakesh Chutke bears the cost of buying roti and biscuits.
