Since he had internal injuries, he was immediately admitted and shifted to the ICU after his health deteriorated on Tuesday,” Kumar said.
The 80-year-old Fernandes was the Minister of Transport, Roads and Highways and Labor and Employment in the UPA government and was also the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labor and Employment in Manmohan Singh’s first UPA government.
