In an order issued by the Dakshina Kannada district administration Karnataka, Deputy Commissioner KV Rajendra said that any kind of new year celebration Beaches are not allowed after 7 pm.
The order states that celebrations are not allowed even in public places.
The night curfew, introduced from 10 pm to 5 am from December 28, is already in force in the twin districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
Udupi district deputy commissioner Kurma Rao has also issued an order banning the celebrations at beaches and other public places.
