Kareena Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Soha and Saba wish ‘iconic’ Sharmila Tagore on 77th birthday; see photos

Veteran star Sharmila Tagore turned 77 on Wednesday (December 8), along with her family members daughter-in-law. Kareena Kapoor Khan, granddaughter Sara Ali Khan And daughters Soha Ali Khan and Saba Pataudi poured out warm birthday wishes on social media. Kareena posted a beautiful monochrome picture of the ‘Amar Prem’ actor on her Instagram story, and wrote, “Happy birthday to my beautiful mother-in-law… Iconic.”

Sara Ali Khan shared pictures with her “elder amma” on her Instagram handle and added a heartfelt message. She wrote, “Happy Birthday Badi Amma. I love you so much. Thank you for always being here for us and being a constant pillar of support. Inshallah, I hope I can make you proud always.”

Soha Ali Khan also posted an adorable picture with her mother on her Instagram handle, along with a quirky caption. “Happy birthday to the apple tree,” she wrote.

Saba Pataudi also shared an old picture with the veteran star and wrote, “Happy birthday mom! I can’t be today..

Earlier, Saba had also posted a unique video dedicated to Sharmila. It had old pictures of Sharmila from her films and husband Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. “Mother…you reflect the inner beauty, grace becomes you. Keep shining…! Happy birthday! Lots of love…always!” She wrote in the caption.

Sharmila Tagore made her acting debut in 1959 with Satyajit Ray’s Apur Sansar. She made her Bollywood debut in 1964 with ‘Kashmir Ki Kali’ co-starring Shammi Kapoor. The legendary actor gave successful films including ‘Aradhana’, ‘Chupke Chupke’ and ‘Amar Prem’.
