Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has returned to direction with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. The upcoming film has been making waves ever since KJo announced the project. Movie lovers are excited to see Ranveer and Alia pair up again after their successful collaboration in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’.
Karan shared a post on social media and informed the fans that he will make a special announcement related to the film on Monday (November 29). He asked his followers to keep an eye on his Instagram handle for updates.
“I have a very special announcement for Rocky and Rani’s love story. Tomorrow at 1.50 pm! Watch this space,” Johar wrote on his Instagram story.
Karan’s post has got fans curious as they are expecting him to announce the release date of ‘Rocky and Rani ki love story’. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in lead roles.

Karan is busy producing many films and OTT projects these days. He shared a video on Saturday (November 27) to announce that Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan, Bhavna Pandey and Neelam Kothari have started shooting for ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Lives’. He posted a clip in which we got a glimpse of behind-the-scenes antics on the sets.
Karan wrote, “Our favorite Bollywood wives are more fabulous than ever. The fabulous life of Bollywood Wives Season 2 is now being filmed.”
The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director recently announced ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. The film will hit the silver screen on 7 October 2022.
