Ibrahim Ali Khan is an AD on Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani
Karan Johar is reportedly planning to launch Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan with the remake of Hridayam. The film was announced earlier this year.
Earlier this year it was reported that Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios have acquired the rights of Malayalam romantic-comedy Hridayam. Now if the latest reports are to be believed, Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan has been signed for this. Karan is reportedly planning to launch the star kid with this film. According to Bollywood Hungama, Karan was in search of a suitable film to launch him for some time now.
The publication quoted its source as saying, “This is the best project for Ibrahim to launch. Karan has been in search of a suitable launch film for Ibrahim for some time now. The character in Hridayam, a flamboyant student who matures into marriage and parenthood, is perfect for Ibrahim. ,
Karan Johar had earlier this year announced on his social media handle that he would be remaking the film not only in Hindi but also in Tamil and Telugu. Hridayam, directed by noted filmmaker Vineeth Srinivasan, featured Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles.
As for Karan, the director-producer has several projects under his banner Dharma Productions. While he is backing projects like Brahmastra, Yoddha and Jag Jug Jio, he will make his return as a director. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film is slated to release in February 2023.
Ibrahim, who is not yet on screen, is assisting Karan in Rocky and Rani’s love story. Saif Ali Khan’s eldest son with Amrita Singh acted as an assistant director to Karan in his next directorial venture. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film also stars Bengali actors Tota Roy Chowdhury and Chunni Ganguly. Rocky and Rani’s love story marked her return to direction after Karan Johar’s 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
